Blue Orb are involved in a number of projects to help save New Zealand's national icon. This work began when the newly formed Bank of New Zealand Kiwi Recovery Trust (BNZKRT) asked Blue Orb to redevelop and re-launch the BNZKRT website, developing an intuitive, easy to navigate informational resource or ‘Portal’ for all things kiwi.

This focus on saving the kiwi has been expanded by Blue Orb over the years to incorporate other projects such as the creation of the Kiwi classroom and Sniff the kiwi, KiwiLife and In the Dog Box.
